How does OPP describe themselves?

“Our mission is to bring about a time when all animals are treated with kindness & compassion. OPP was founded in 2003 by a group of animal lovers who wanted to make a difference in the lives of animals. Since then, we have rescued and found homes for hundreds of animals. Our passion for animal welfare drives everything we do, from our adoption process to our volunteer programs. We believe that every animal deserves a loving home, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality. We live by our mission and achieve this by implementing solutions to end the problems that animals currently face.”

How do we describe them?

OPP is a team that works tirelessly to rescue dogs on death row from county shelters, and ensure that they find their forever home. Through OPP’s Save-A-Heart program, they provide dogs with needed medical attention to prepare for their new families. From heartworm treatment to ongoing senior vet expenses to the mass removal that will greatly improve Senior Charlie’s life and his ability to be adopted, Gigi and her team embrace every challenge that comes their way. In addition, their Learning Center and Camp OPP work with the community to both advocate on behalf of homeless animals and to socialize their shelter dogs with people of all ages, teaching them that the world can be a loving and trusting place. Gigi’s team is made entirely of volunteers so you can rest assured that your donations go straight to the dogs!
