Going Home: Your Gotcha Day!

Meeting your new pup can be as overwhelming as it is exciting for both you and your new bundle of furry joy! Here at Dogwood, we are here to help you make that transition as easy as possible for both of you. When you adopt with us, you receive an Adoption Kit that includes,

• Starter puppy kibble to get you through the first few days.

• Puppy blanket and toy with their mama & littermates’ scent.

• Poop bags & dispenser.

• Collar.

• Your pup’s vaccine record and early history.

• 1-Year Health Guarantee.

• Additional items available for a fee and can include crate, washable pad, grooming kit, clicker and treat bag, food & water bowls and heartbeat stuffy. Each of our pups comes with,

• Microchip (to be registered by you within 1 week of pick up).*

• 6-week vaccines

• 8-week vaccines & microchipping*

• 2, 4, 6 and 8*-week deworming.

• Early vet check-ups.

• ENS desensitizing since 3 days old. Socialization with adults, children and dogs outside our immediate family starting at two weeks of age. Exposure to new environments and experiences daily to build confidence and trust in themselves. Introduction to clicker training, crates and basic commands.   *The puppies will be available for pick up at eight weeks, while the 8-week vaccinations, deworming and microchip placement generally happens a few days later. If you decide to pick up your puppy before this appointment, talk with us about transferring the appointment to your name.
